We are thrilled to add an incredible new provider to the team this month! Read on to get to know Danielle Thomas, RN-BSN!
Danielle is no stranger to the transformative power of self-confidence. She has built her entire career around raising others up by making them feel fantastic about the way they look! Danielle has been in the medical field since 2004, and kept advancing her career until she graduated summa cum laude from Presentation College in Aberdeen, South Dakota with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. In the years following, Danielle worked in a diverse array of settings ranging from long-term care, weight loss, and aesthetics. Her natural aptitude for leadership was continuously recognized by her peers, and her roles began to expand into positions of management and even directorship in several of her positions.
In 2011, Danielle was instrumental in establishing a medical weight loss clinic in the Fargo-Moorhead area of North Dakota. Here, she served as Director of Nursing and Principal Aesthetic Provider for eleven years and partnered with countless patients to help them achieve their weight loss goals and feel like the best versions of themselves. The practice was so successful, and patients felt so empowered by their improved health and body confidence that they began to request services to address the facial volume loss that frequently accompanies weight loss. As a result, Danielle broadened her services and expertise to include cosmetic injectables and other facial and body aesthetic procedures. After having fostered so much trust in her North Dakota patients, most of them drive several hours to Minnesota so they can still see Danielle for their cosmetic injectables!
Danielle’s talent and skill as an aesthetic injector and educator quickly came to the attention of the Allergan Medical Institute (AMI). She was asked to join their elite team of National Trainers and Faculty Speakers who travel the country to instruct and educate other providers on the Allergan Aesthetics portfolio of products, like BOTOX® Cosmetic and the JUVÉDERM® Collection. As an Allergan Medical Institute trainer, Danielle is considered to be in the top 0.0005% of aesthetic injectors in the nation! To add to this honor, Danielle was also selected as the lead injector at the 2023 Allergan Medical Institute Master Expert Series Advanced Facial Aesthetics Program. Here, she worked alongside some of the most experienced, in-demand, and creative minds in the entire aesthetic industry and was able to advance her skills even further to benefit her patients. Danielle absolutely loves being an AMI trainer and helping other practitioners advance their skills. She realizes that building and fostering these incredible relationships not only supports other aesthetic professionals, but also elevates the industry standard as a whole which benefits patients!
As someone who is incredibly meticulous and thorough by nature, all of Danielle’s first appointments begin with a full face assessment to determine and develop the exact approach that will enhance and balance each patient’s unique anatomy. Her goal is to honor and respect the features of each individual and optimize their natural beauty. Danielle has extensive experience in providing aesthetic procedures, and specializes in advanced techniques, such as cannula technique for dermal filler, that promotes a more comfortable experience while resulting in less downtime. She is known for prioritizing education with her patients, her warm personality, and her exceptionally gentle touch.
When outside of Skin Artisans, Danielle loves spending time with her husband and two dogs exploring the beautiful outdoors of Minnesota. She is also a health nut and prioritizes working out and clean nutrition just as much as skincare! Danielle is a self-professed science nerd who can even be found on the couch reading the latest medical journals or listening to an aesthetic podcast. She also adores traveling and visiting her little sister in Puerto Rico!
