“I have been a customer at Skin Artisans for over 6 years. They were my last resort for finding a solution to help my terrible acne and scars. Tina was able to clear and reveal the beautiful skin I didn’t even know existed. I get tons of compliments regarding my skin, and I only have to use a light powder bronzer, no heavy liquid foundation needed. She is always so nice and welcoming when I see her.” – MJ
Skin Artisans offers a variety of chemical skin peels that provide a radiant complexion and improve the texture of your skin. We can help you choose the chemical peel that is right for you.
Chemical peels can effectively treat acne, sun damage, age spots, fine lines, and other age or sun-related damage. Chemical peels use a controlled application of medical-grade chemicals to exfoliate the outer surface of the skin and encourage the production of fresh, new skin underneath. Our medical aestheticians and acne treatment specialists offer a number of chemical peel options to suit a patient’s various skin care needs.

The Micropeel is an excellent addition to your skin care regime. It will expedite the exfoliation process of your skin by shedding the build-up of dead surface cells. Micropeels also allow for skin care products to absorb, making them more effective.
This is the lightest of peels and a perfect way to immediately decrease pore size, and reduce the signs of fine lines, dullness and visible skin imperfections. This procedure is performed in a three-step clinical process that includes manual exfoliation through dermaplaning, chemical exfoliation and cryogenic therapy. Cryogenic therapy is a technique that soothes and calms the skin, using carbon dioxide. This treatment is anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and increases cell turnover, bringing the skin back to its normal pH and reducing erythema.
For the best results, Micropeels should be performed every four to six weeks while following a homecare regimen customized for you.
The Micropeel Plus provides the same advantages of the Micropeel procedure described above, but includes additional benefits: reducing acne and acne scarring and correcting environmental skin damage. Micropeel Plus includes a salicylic acid/glycolic peel solution to refine pores and reduce the appearance of acne. The glycolic acid aids in improvement of rough skin texture, blotchiness, and uneven skin tone. A series of six peels every three to four weeks is recommended for optimal results.

The Jessners Peel was designed to remove superficial layers of skin, dry out active acne, dislodge blackheads, reduce shallow wrinkling and scarring, help lighten hyper pigmentation and improve the overall appearance of health and sun-damaged, acne-prone, aging skin. A series of 3 to 6 peels may be needed for optimal results.
The Triple Effect Peel is a medium strength peel with a blend of salicylic acid, lactic acid, resorcinol and retinol for an effective skin resurfacing peel. This peel addresses moderate to severe sun damage, discoloration or mottled skin, rough texture, clogged and congested skin, as well as fine lines and wrinkles. These agents penetrate deeper into the skin and result in greater exfoliation of the outer skin layers.

This moisturizing melasma mask base gently treats dry skin and provides for great absorption of the active ingredients. The mask will be worn for several hours, depending on skin type/color, and removed at home. This is a two-step peel the patient will be using homecare products to finish the treatment.
