Injection Specialist

With nearly two decades of hands-on nursing experience and a deep passion for aesthetics, Gina Newton, RN, brings compassion, clinical expertise, and a warm, approachable presence to her role as an Injection Specialist at Skin Artisans Minnetonka.

Gina began her nursing career in 2008, where she spent 10 rewarding years in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), caring for some of the most vulnerable patients and supporting families through incredibly emotional moments. She then transitioned to an orthopedic surgery center, further strengthening her precision, assessment skills, and patient-centered care philosophy.

In 2015, Gina was introduced to the world of medical aesthetics by a close friend. What began as a personal interest in improving her own skin and learning more about the aging process quickly evolved into a professional passion. After receiving an offer to train in cosmetic injections, Gina discovered how deeply fulfilling it was to help others feel more confident in their appearance. Since then, she’s dedicated herself to delivering natural-looking results that enhance her patients’ features without ever appearing overdone.

Gina’s favorite treatment to perform is BOTOX® Cosmetic, which she views as both an art and a science. She is especially passionate about using it to refine rather than augment, and always approaches the face holistically. Her focus is on maintaining balance and harmony while enhancing what her patients already love about themselves.

Patients often describe Gina as friendly, knowledgeable, caring, happy, and a perfectionist. She creates a welcoming, pressure-free space for every patient and treats each relationship with the same care and respect she would offer a family member. Her philosophy is simple: when people feel good about the way they look, they’re empowered to bring their best selves into their work, families, and communities.

Gina is proud to be part of the Skin Artisans team, which she affectionately refers to as the “Ferrari of aesthetics.” She is inspired daily by her colleagues, many of whom played a role in her professional growth, and values the clinic’s commitment to continuing education and excellence in patient care.

Outside the treatment room, Gina enjoys traveling, staying current with fashion trends, and recently discovered a new love for pickleball. She shares her life with her miniature Goldendoodle, Bruno, who keeps her active and laughing. Her personal mantra, “Be happy,” is something she carries into every aspect of her life and practice.
