The Triple Effect Peel is a medium strength peel with a blend of salicylic acid, lactic acid, resorcinol and retinol for an effective skin resurfacing peel. This peel addresses moderate to severe sun damage, discoloration or mottled skin, rough texture, clogged and congested skin, as well as fine lines and wrinkles. These agents penetrate deeper into the skin and result in greater exfoliation of the outer skin layers.
Trichloroacetic acid is one of the strongest forms of chemical exfoliants that can greatly improve the appearance of advanced aging, severe sun-damage and acne-scarred skin. Melasma is an acquired increase of pigmentation, which occurs exclusively in sun-exposed areas. Brownish in color, it is exacerbated by sun exposure, pregnancy and oral contraceptives. This moisturizing melasma mask base gently treats dry skin and provides for great absorption of the active ingredients. The mask will be worn for several hours, depending on skin type/color, and removed at home. This is a two-step peel the patient will be using homecare products to finish the treatment.
