Our talented team of Skin Artisans Injection Specialists is growing! We are so excited to introduce you to Jennifer Jeansson, RN, CANS. With a career extending over two decades in the medical esthetics industry, “Jen” brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to share with her patients. She is a highly respected nurse injector in the Minneapolis area who has been providing cosmetic injectables since 2006, and we are thrilled to have her join the Skin Artisans family!
Jen’s career in dermatology began in 1998 after receiving her Associate of Applied Science degree in Medical Assisting and Medical Office Management from Grand Island College in Nebraska. Shortly thereafter, she returned to school to pursue her passion in aesthetics graduating from the College of St. Catherine with an Associate of Science degree in Nursing in 2006. After working in the industry as a cosmetic injector for several years, Jen became board-certified as an Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (CANS) in 2013. In 2016, she became a regional trainer for the Allergan Medical Institute (AMI), which allows her to share best practices for cosmetic injectables like Botox® and Juvederm® with her peers. Most recently, Jen joined Galderma’s team of trainers to assists other injectors learning how to properly inject Dysport®, Restylane®, and Sculptra®.
How you feel after an appointment with Jen is just as important to her as how you look! She takes the time to get to know her patients and understand what has motivated you to enhance your appearance with cosmetic injectables. Her consultations begin by listening carefully to each patient’s concerns and aspirations and then prioritizing your cosmetic goals. Next, Jen makes a thorough assessment and creates a customized treatment plan that will deliver a safe and natural-looking outcome. She specializes in full-face rejuvenation and lip augmentation. This involves addressing the face’s balance in its entirety to ensure that your features achieve optimal alignment and harmony. Jen’s diverse background allows her to provide a variety of recommendations that go beyond injectables, including skin rejuvenation treatments, lasers, and medical-grade skincare. Her goal is to make you feel and look like the best version of YOU.
As someone who is deeply devoted to her profession and craft, Jen continuously seeks out opportunities to further her education and has a high regard for best safety practices. She believes this is tremendously important to be able to educate and offer her patients the highest quality of care. Jen regularly attends elite educational courses to advance her skills further and refresh her competency in the latest aesthetic treatments and technological advancements. She is licensed by the Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Nebraska State Board of Nursing. She is also an active member of the American Nurses Association (ANA), International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses (ISPAN) & Dermatology Nurses Association (DNA).
Jen believes that beauty is not only external but that it comes from within us as well. If she can help someone feel more beautiful when they look in the mirror, she knows that this will also transcend into that person exuding more confidence and happiness in their daily life. She loves being a part of this journey with her patients!
