CareCredit® and PatientFi™ are essentially healthcare financing credit cards. Because few elective skincare treatments are covered by health insurance, and interest rates on traditional credit cards can be outrageously high, many people give up on the dream of ever benefiting from some of the incredible procedures the medical esthetics world offers. CareCredit® and PatientFi™ break down the cost of your treatments into smaller monthly payments. In addition, if you qualify, these programs may not charge interest when your balance is paid off in full within a certain number of months!
How do CareCredit® and PatientFi™ work?
CareCredit® and PatientFi™ specialize in helping patients pay out-of-pocket expenses not covered by traditional medical insurance. They offer unique financing options that many patients would not receive with regular credit cards. Once a patient has been approved for CareCredit® or PatientFi™, they can use their credit towards non-surgical treatments like CoolSculpting®, DiamondGlow™, dermal fillers, and other treatments that Skin Artisans offers.
When you apply for CareCredit® or PatientFi™ financing through a link on the Skin Artisan’s website, you will be asked to enter a specific amount for the treatment(s) you are interested in. You will also be asked for basic information, similar to applying for a credit card. The Skin Artisans office staff can help walk you through the application process if you would like assistance and guide you through which payment plan option may be best for your financial situation.
The CareCredit® and PatientFi™ approval process generally takes less than 15 minutes! Once your application has been approved and you qualify for financing, our team will guide you through the next steps of deciding when payments will begin and how much you will pay each time, depending on the plan you select.
