Laurie T.

Cosmetic Assistant, CMA

Laurie is no stranger to the aesthetics industry. She has over 14 years of experience assisting others in finding and enhancing their natural beauty! After earning her Bachelor of Science in Communications, Laurie went on to work with the iconic Estée Lauder Company. Here she learned both the artistry of makeup application and the science of skincare. In her role as a skincare specialist, Laurie saw firsthand how skin’s overall health directly impacted its appearance – with and without makeup! As a result, she quickly developed a passion for clinical skincare and left Estée Lauder to pursue a position with a local dermatology clinic. Here she was exposed to the exciting world of medical esthetics and cosmetic injectables and their ability to transform a patient’s skin and self-confidence!

Laurie believes that when you feel comfortable with how you look and have pride in your appearance, that your confidence soars! She has witnessed this play out in the lives of so many people and feels honored to be a part of that journey. Laurie thinks it’s essential to communicate to patients that they are important and deserve to treat themselves well! Taking care of your skin is not superfluous or vain – it’s an investment in your overall health!

One of the things that Laurie values most about working at Skin Artisans is that the providers share her sentiments and philosophy regarding skincare and how a patient should be treated. To her, the staff feels like one big family that shares the common goal of making their patients look and feel like the best versions of themselves. Each team member, regardless of their role in the practice, strives to exceed each patient’s expectations and create an inviting, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere.

When outside of Skin Artisans, Laurie can be found spending time and making memories with family and friends. She loves the outdoors and has an immense appreciation for nature and the beauty of Minnesota. Laurie is also a lifelong animal lover who currently counts four pets as “fur” family members!
