Jane comes to Skin Artisans with a wealth of experience and knowledge in nursing that spans over four decades! As someone who cares deeply for others, a medical career seemed like a natural fit for Jane early on. In 1981, she became a Certified Medical Assistant. Working ten years in this role inspired her to advance her education and training to take on more extensive responsibilities in patient care. As a result, Jane earned her nursing degree in 1991 and has been a Registered Nurse ever since!

Jane feels fortunate to have had an incredibly diverse nursing background that has allowed her to work with such a vast array of patients. She has held positions in the Pediatric ICU, Labor and Delivery, Infertility, and Dermatology. Her experience working in Dermatology served as the catalyst for Jane to enter the world of medical aesthetics because she was so impressed by the ability of professional treatments and products to truly enhance the health and appearance of a patient’s skin. As a result, her interest in skincare blossomed, and a new passion for helping others feel confident about their appearance was born!

Education is the cornerstone of Jane’s interaction with patients. She loves to teach and help people understand the options available to them, how they work, and why they may be appropriate for them. Jane enjoys learning about each patient’s concerns and goals and helping to make recommendations that will get them safe, fast, and visible results!

Jane feels inspired by her co-workers at Skin Artisans because each provider is at the absolute top of their craft, and the entire team has a unified mission of exceeding patient expectations on a daily basis. She appreciates that her work environment is very professional and collaborative but still warm, friendly, and fun! Jane’s outgoing, honest, and authentic personality is in perfect synergy with Skin Artisan’s culture. She excels at making our patients feel heard, understood, and exceptionally cared for.

Outside of Skin Artisans, Jane enjoys a family life that is bustling with activity! She and her husband have two grown children and three grandsons (who she is obsessed with!). Jane also adores her Bernedoodle, Finnley, and can often be found curled up on the couch with him and a good book or outside birdwatching.
